Summary: Blaine is a master of fitting in. After all, he’s gone a year and a half at McKinley without anyone realizing that he is gayer than a treeful of canaries. Then he sees Kurt Hummel and, suddenly, fitting in isn’t everything it was cracked up to be.
So I’ve read this before, I think back in January-ish, and I’m still a little bit hesitant to rec it, even after rereading it, but I will anyway because it’s kind of adorable. The reason I’m kind of iffy on this is because Blaine’s characterization here doesn’t really work with my interpretation of Blaine and I can’t really buy Blaine being so painfully shy, but if I suspend my disbelief a bit, then this is too cute for words, lol. Blaine’s sudden 180, though, just seemed way too fast for me and probably should have been developed more, but that’s neither here nor there.
