This was wonderful. ♥ Generally I don’t like future fic for Kurt and Blaine (IDK why, I’m just not really into reading it), but like how things happened in this fic. My heart kind of broke for Blaine though, because of his father. =(

Title: These Thousand Names for Gratitude
Author: rm
Rating: R || Status: Complete
Summary: It’s the end of the summer. Kurt moves in. No one has any damn idea what they are doing. It’s sad a lot, but everything’s also sort of clumsy and scary and perfect.

OMG, these boys! They are just so sweet and romantic and it just gets to the hopeless romantic in me! ♥ I love the moving scene and Burt just being so supportive and how he just wants a tour of both their schools. And then there was the whole club scene!

But they don’t leave, not right then. It wouldn’t be polite, and besides they both really, really have a thing for anticipation. It is, Blaine says, the porn version of romance.

LOLOL, hearts forever! ♥♥

Title: All the Honesty of Politics
Author: rm
Rating: R || Status: Complete
Summary: Somewhere a little voice in the back of Kurt’s mind is screaming, Are we really having a fight about voter registration?

Seriously, I love this ‘verse! Just them not knowing what they’re doing and trying to figure it all out and how it all just kind of breaks my heart while still being fluffy at the same time. I really like the tentative feel of the reconciliation between Blaine and how real everything feels. The ending too is absolutely wonderful. ♥

Circles as the Dark Winds Down

I really love Wes in this and the conversation that happened over dinner, especially when Kurt was talking about how weird it was to live together and how they just felt so grown up and seriously, they are just so adorable and sweet and so so in love. ♥ (Also, Wes wanting to ask Priscilla to marry him, but is waiting for Blaine to bully him into it kind of totally sweet to me, lol.)

Title: The Distance Between Ohio and Boston

Rating: PG-13 || Status: Complete
Summary: Kurt and Blaine go back to Ohio for Christmas. Kurt does something really uncool, but so very, very Kurt.

The Distance Between Ohio and Boston

This series just kills me with it’s awesomeness. The fight between Kurt and Blaine totally made my heart ache, but at the same time, I kind of liked the aftermath of it? IDK, but seriously, these boys!

Title: All the Pretty Little Horses
Author: rm
Rating: NC-17 || Status: Complete
Summary: Summer jobs and various acts of excess.

All the Pretty Little Horses

Kurt could feel, he knows, like a ghost when they go dancing, but he doesn’t, because Blaine is pretty like everyone and he is pretty like no one, so Blaine may be the half of them who catches attention, but Kurt is the half of them who keeps it.

OMG, this line! It makes me ache and smile at the same time. Seriously, these boys! So I’m not the kind of person who would ever do drugs, never mind it being with a partner, but there was something so wonderful about the aftermath when they talked about how they didn’t need it to feel that way about each other.

Title: Languages You Don’t Even Know
Author: rm
Rating: NC-17 || Status: Complete
Summary: It’s sophomore year now. Kurt used to have a problem with no. Lately, he has a problem with yes.

Languages You Don’t Even Know

OMG, I gotta say I totally teared up a bit there near the end! Just Kurt deciding to study abroad and how freakin’ adorable they are and Kurt buys a ring because of what Mercedes says and seriously! And then my heart clenched in the best way when Kurt read the inscription and Blaine said he hoped Kurt would always choose him (oh bb, of course he would!). The phone call with Wes at the end was absolutely perfect though. ♥

Title: Fauna and Flora

Summary: Kurt spends a semester in Rome; everyone copes strangely.

Fauna and Flora

I kind of loved Alex here — she is so awesome. I’ve never been to Rome (or even out of the US) and this kind of makes me wish I did go and study abroad when I had the chance. But yeah, the phone calls between Blaine and Wes were lovely.

It’s not that Blaine’s jealous; it’s that Blaine’s terrified, because he does, actually and secretly, believe that Kurt should do whatever Kurt needs to do to keep choosing him. If that includes choosing someone else for a few hours, well, Blaine’s fine with that, as long as he never, ever has to hear about it. But it’s not how their promises work, and even if it certainly isn’t something that’s actually likely to happen considering this insane situation where Kurt’s now effectively wearing a wedding ring, Blaine still worries.

This kind of broke me a little. Even knowing he doesn’t have to worry, but how he still does because we’re all attacked by irrational fears every once in a while. But seriously, line about Blaine being okay with Kurt choosing someone else for a little while as long as he doesn’t know? That kind of totally terrifies me. I mean, just loving someone so much that you would let the cheating go as long as you didn’t know — things like that just break my heart while filling me with rage at the same time.
