Stories like this are kind of the best because it’s such a guilty pleasure/self indulgent fic (but not too over the top). I love Blaine’s voice in this and his disbelief over the whole situation and realizing how different things actually are at McKinley. Also, Brittany’s text was A+++.

“Coach Sylvester says that children who don’t learn vigilance and paranoia are the most likely to fall prey to poor life choices and cougar attacks,” Kurt says absently, staring out the window as Lima passes them by.

But I totally think that line is the most telling about how different things actually are. It’s the “absently” that cements it.
