This was awesome! My heart just hurt from the present and how everything was and then everything that happened while Sulu was in the past. I’m so glad for the first ending though because it just made everything so much better. The alternate ending (which is the original ending/ending on the AO3 version) was okay too, but for me, obviously the first ending was more satisfying. XP
