OMG THIS FICCCCC!!! This might possibly be my favorite ST fic to date! ♥ It just gives me ALL THE FEELS! It’s so long and plotty and the characterization is just amazing! I love that it switches off between Spock’s and Jim’s POVs and how we see them growing up together and falling in love, in their own ways. I was practically dying when Jim was researching pon farr and what happened and how Jim was just so in love and Spock just didn’t get it. And then Starfleet and how Jim meet everyone else and Spock finally getting a clue. Seriously, I was hooked ever since I started reading and I can’t even imagine how I would have been if I had discovered this fic earlier and not on chapter 36/37 ’cause there were some big ol’ cliffhangers there for a while! On the other hand, I’m so ridiculously glad that this fic had frequent and consistent updates because WIPs and me do not mix well, especially if the updates aren’t consistent. The fact that there were TWO updates from the time I started reading to the time I caught up was totally a highlight and the fact that there were updates every other day once I caught up totally made my life. ♥ I’m not even gonna lie, everytime I saw the email notification of an update, even at work, I clicked and read (or, you know, was sneak-reading at work between things) because that was just how addicted I was. Also, the last chapter? JUST ALL THE FEELS! Perfect ending, even though I never wanted this to end. ♥♥♥
