OMG, ALL THE FEELINGS! This is long and plotty which means it’s pretty much my thing. I love the dynamic between Jim and Spock in this and how their relationship developed over time. I also love the idea of EPAS (who are basically EMTs/paramedics in space) and how it’s different from Starfleet, but fits so perfectly in the universe. I was pretty much hooked right away and it totally killed me needing to take breaks from reading for things like work and sleep, lol, but seriously, this was so good and the ending was perfect, in that I’m super content without more from the ‘verse.
