Not gonna lie, I’m not really into Robert/Ariadne, but the little summary excerpt made me want to read the story. It was the promise of angst! It called to me, lol, and it totally delivered! This fic made my heart clench — I love the way it was structured and the characterizations. Ariadne with her guilt and Robert just drawn to Ariadne because he remembers her saving him and Arthur, so distant and unable to understand. I love how Ariadne grows in this, how she starts falling for Robert and Robert, he is so good and trusting and wonderful. This fic has totally converted me to Robert/Ariadne. ♥ Also, SEQUEL THIS WAY.
