So I finally watched the first part of the seventh HP movie this weekend along with rewatching all the previous HP movies ’cause they were on TV (ABC Family, why do you have so many commercials?) and then I obviously had the urge to read HP fic, but it’s been a while since I have, so I basically just looked in my bookmarks for something that was long and that I wanted to reread and here we are, LOL. It’s sad that I haven’t rec’d this here, but I read this a few years ago and it’s still as awesome now as it was then. XP

I really like the characterizations and how spot-on it was — I could tell because of how pissed of Ron and Harry made me at various times throughout the fic (just like how I feel when I read the books, LOLOLOL). I love how this continues from the end of the series and how it shows that life goes on and even though things are better, they’re not perfect just because the war is over. I also like how it deals with Harry and Ginny’s (failed) relationship and Harry and Draco’s (undefined) relationship.

This fic is just so cute, haha. The idea of Harry finding dates through personal ads just makes me laugh and the thought of him responding to Draco‘s crazy ad makes me laugh even more. XP And Draco’s personal ad was pretty amazing, I must say. XD

I love how Harry just had a feeling and was sending his mysterious date chocolates and roses. How sweet, haha. And the actual correspondences back and forth between Harry and Draco were all kinds of awesome. XD

Harry is so adorable in this, lol. I love how Harry agreed to go to the party because Draco gave him a seductive look (GAHH!) and him getting drunk at the party and KNOWING that the Slytherins cheated, but somehow ending up practically naked at the party, haha. And how Draco comes to “save” him from the Slytherins with his “light show” and his drunken thoughts and how smacking Draco’s arse seems like a great idea and yeah. XD And then blanket!Draco and his brain obviously connecting Draco and bed with sex, haha.

“Fuck,” Malfoy said yet again.

“Shhh,” Harry instructed. “We’ll call it sex. It’s politer.”

Umm, Draco as a greeting card writer? One of the strangest yet most awesome things, ever. XP And OMFG the greeting cards included were hilarious. XD I love that Draco thinks Harry is still an auror and how they go on a merry chase of some random dude (which turns out to be not so random) because Harry’s not trying to blow his cover, if you can call it that. XP And yeah, pretty much this whole story is hilarious and awesome. LOVE IT.

Oh, this is super cute, haha. I love the idea of advertiser!Draco and the mistake in the ad campaign. XD Seriously, “The cocks to keep in stock!” and “COCKS! EVERYONE NEEDS THEM!” was just fucking AWESOME, lol. XD

I also loved Harry in the ice cream truck! That’s just so cute, haha. And Harry with the ice cream cones!

Instead of some long-winded speech about the past and forgiving things between them, like Draco had expected, Harry offered him two ice cream cones – one vanilla, one chocolate. He stared at Draco expectantly, and Draco stared at the ice cream blankly.

He wondered, abruptly, if vanilla was supposed to represent the good path, the side Harry was on, and if chocolate was supposed to be the opposite. Then he wondered if it was something else entirely, like chocolate was representing Harry, and vanilla was representing Draco, and if Harry was going to start into a speech about how they were different, but ultimately just ice cream in the end. Or, perhaps, Harry was trying to drug him with the promise of delicious ice cream. There were so many possibilities.

That was just awesome. XP And the dialogue between Harry and Draco and then later, how Harry asks Draco out…!

“Let me take you to dinner,” Harry said abruptly.

“I don’t think that much has happened,” Draco managed, after sputtering for a few seconds.

Harry shrugged, “I’ll take you somewhere nice. You’ll like it.”

Draco smiled something genuine and only managed to scoff just a little. “Potter, you can’t afford a dinner with me.”

“Then take me out to dinner,” Harry said easily. He paused, frowning as if realizing what he said.

Haha, so cute. XD And the rest of the fic is awesome as well. *hearts*

This fic is great. I love that Harry’s animagus is a rabbit — it’s just so CUTE! XD And also, the image of Draco cuddling bunny!Harry…! GAHHH! *heart*

I loved we see Harry learning to move in his bunny body, and his joy at his new speed. I loved that he went to stalk Draco for no other reason than curiousity, because we all know how curious Harry can be. XP I loved that Draco fell in love with Bunny and calling him the best pet ever. XD

I loved Harry’s plan to be in Draco’s company and help out Slytherin at the same time. And also, Harry’s not quite subtle statement of interest, haha, and he’s full-disclosure way of making up to Draco after betraying his trust.

Basically, I loved it all, haha. GO READ! XP

Oh man, Harry is SO CUTE in this one! I just love shy!Harry, it’s true, lol. But seriously! How can you NOT Harry being head-over-heels for Draco?

“You know, Harry, you keep saying ‘yes’ to me.” Draco had regained a measure of his control and some of the amusement was back in his tone, but his eyes were still intense. “I may take advantage of that fact if you’re not more careful.” Before Harry could respond, he took Harry’s mouth in another kiss, hot and sweet, that made Harry’s knees buckle.

GAH! YES YES YES! Hahaha. Oh Harry, you’re too cute! I keep saying it, but I was totally thinking it throughout the fic! XD

He’d been replaying the events of the evening in his mind, lingering over them, cementing them firmly into his memory. He was trying to decide whether he should chance staying until Draco woke, or whether he should leave before then. Harry’s brow creased in a slight frown. Draco had seemed happy enough to have Harry curl up in bed next to him after they’d cleaned up; he’d even pulled Harry into his arms and slung one arm possessively around him. Harry warmed at the memory; it had felt wonderful, natural, and he’d indulged in the fantasy of pretending that Draco’s bed was his rightful place to spend the night. It had been a sweet fantasy, and Harry remembered it with a wistful sigh. He’d better leave now, though, he thought reluctantly; if Draco woke and was irritated that he was still there–or worse, was cool and dismissive–Harry didn’t think he could bear it.

Oh Harry! As if Draco doesn’t want you! It’s parts like this that get me, lol. Even though we ALL know Draco wants Harry A LOT, Harry’s insecurities just make my heart clench for him! GAH!

After nearly a month, Hermione cornered Harry at work one day, demanding to know what was going on, but Harry just shrugged. He didn’t want to talk about Draco to anyone; he wanted to hug their time together jealously to himself, to keep it private, entirely his, so when the inevitable end came he could grieve in peace.

The truth of the matter was that he was dangerously close to falling in love with Draco, and he knew without question that Hermione would see that immediately if he talked about Draco at all. So he put her off, reassuring her with vague platitudes that he knew didn’t fool her for a minute, but which gave her no recourse to pursue the matter.

Okay, seriously, I love this fic, lol. I need to stop quoting things, but GOD, Harry is just killing me!

…he was painfully aware of the fact that he hadn’t ‘caught’ Draco at all. There had never been any talk between them of any kind of permanence, they just moved from day to day, staying firmly in the present.

“No, I’m not interested in that. And I haven’t ‘caught’ him. He’s…he’s free to do whatever he wants. To see whoever he wants.” The words were stilted, uncomfortable, and Harry was caught off guard at how deeply it hurt to say them aloud.

Pansy walked closer and squinted at him thoughtfully, reaching absently for a handful of grapes. “You really mean that, don’t you, Potter? I mean, you’d let Draco walk away from you in a second if you thought he didn’t want you anymore.”

Harry shrugged noncommittally, and misery flashed briefly over his face, but he masked it quickly. It was another one of Harry’s constant worries; no one had ever held Draco’s attention for very long, and he didn’t expect to be the one to change that. But he had every intention of staying as long as Draco did want him, and of making the most of that time for both of them.

Oh man, poor Harry, constantly thinking that “it’s only a matter of time” and all.. Seriously, my heart was clenching the WHOLE TIME even though we KNOW Draco is gonna be keeping Harry forEVER, haha.

And then there’s the sequel, Worth the Wait, which is in Draco’s POV and that one is even WORSE with the heart-clenching! GAH! I think I like Mutual Interest more than the companion piece, but the sequel is good as well.

This fic is AWESOME. I’m not usually fond of rentboy!fics, but I liked this one. XP It’s probably because I guessed pretty early on what Draco was actually doing, so I wasn’t as wary of what was happening. XP

I liked how in the beginning of the fic, Harry stalks Draco when he finds out that he’s a rentboy, but it quickly changes from just a case thing to full-on obsession (because we all know Harry’s obsessed with Draco thanks to HBP!). Poor Harry and his obsession, eventually offering to pay for Draco’s services, haha. I loved how desperate he became, eventually offering 5000 Galleons for a night! Poor obsessed boy, haha, but then, who wouldn’t be obsessed with Draco? XP And then how he just couldn’t get Draco out of his head and wanting more and then later offering to buy him for six months (!!!) and giving him Grimmauld Place and everything. And then Draco, the interior decorator! XD

Narcissa and Lucius were awesome, haha. And poor Draco, having to witness their lovey-dovey-ness. XP And Harry turning into a beast and wanting to be with Draco. Also, the crazy paparazzi house elf taking pictures of them and Narcissa giving permission to the Quibbler to print the pictures = win. XD

This is so cute! XD I love that Draco is doing Forensics, lol. And also, Benjamin! He was awesome with morbid flirting. I mean, obviously you flirt by talking about rare and dangerous poisons, right? XD

And then there was Harry! I loved that he was following Draco down to the Great Hall and was checking out his ass, haha. XD

He really did not want to talk about what memories being in Hogwarts brought back to him. Besides, what could he possibly say? “Oh, yeah! Remember when you found me crying in the loo and almost killed me? Good times, Potter!” That certainly would keep the conversation going! It was almost as appropriate as “Remember when you went all Gryffindor hero on me and pulled me out of the Fiendfyre even though I was your enemy? Wasn’t it hilarious the way I held on to you? My arms wrapped so tightly around your chest that I felt your every heartbeat. My nose buried in your thick black hair. I remember your smell like it was yesterday …”

He did remember that faint smell of grass and treacle tart as though it had been yesterday, mostly because he had visited that particular pensieve memory only the day before. But he would be damned if he ever admitted that.

Oh Draco, you absolute dork, haha. XD And Astoria looking like Harry was just hilarious. XP

Also, Harry kissing Draco out of the blue = AWESOME. Seriously, Harry was so cute, even after passing out and especially when he woke up, lol. XP

I loved how Draco was hitting on Harry in the beginning, lol. And it’s great to see the scenes between Albus and Scorpius from the POV of Draco. It makes a nice contrast. =)

Oh god, Harry obsessing over Draco’s arse (!!!) — what more can I say?!

Perhaps Harry started staring merely out of boredom, or perhaps he was so used to staring at Malfoy he didn’t know how to stop. Either way, Harry stared. He stared when Malfoy was sitting down and he stared when Malfoy was standing up. He especially liked to stare when the classroom turned hot and stuffy and Malfoy took off his outer robe. Underneath he wore a pair of trousers, not as tight as Harry would have liked, but when Malfoy leaned over his cauldron — and Malfoy did that a lot — the curve of his arse was clearly visible, perfectly outlined by the fabric. To Harry’s delight, Malfoy sometimes stretched, raised his elbows in the air and extended his neck, which made his shirt ride up and Harry could see pale skin and a hint of hipbones.

And Harry wondering if it’s possible to be in love with someone’s arse and Harry fingering himself and thinking about Malfoy. *loves*

It took him weeks to figure out that if he licked and wetted his finger before pushing it into his arse, it didn’t hurt so much. It actually felt nice, but still dirty and wrong. Harry’s cheeks flamed in the dark as he wondered what his friends would say if they knew that late at night he liked to push his pyjama bottoms down and stick his fingers into his arse, dragging them out and pushing them back in, bloody fucking himself as he wanked and pretended he was doing all that to Malfoy.

GUHHHH!

And then, THIS!

“Why don’t you kiss my arse?” Malfoy retorted, the sneer in his tone obvious.

Harry froze and remained rooted to the spot until he heard the door open, signalling Malfoy’s departure. Malfoy’s words were ringing in his ears, echoing and teasing him. He asked, Harry thought crazily, he wants me to do it.

OMG Harry, obsessed much? XP Then the rimming! OMG! And then Harry being embarassed and just so CUTE and I just wanted to squish him! GAH!

Irrationally, he felt the urge to make a confession; to just tell Malfoy the truth, hoping that, somehow, it would make the obsession go away.

“I’m obsessed with your arse,” he said sadly, still looking at Malfoy’s feet.

Seriously, I think this is my favorite part because Harry is just so embarassed about his obsession, but owning up to it to Draco, lol. And then how never realized he could kiss him even though he was obsessed with Draco’s ass so much he kissed that. XP
