I love this fic! The friendship between Albus and Scorpius in the beginning was total love. *heart* So cute how they were just so attached to each other and Albus getting revenge on Scorpius’ tormentors. AWWW! But then at the end, there were the letters! And I knew something bad was about to happen! And then suddenly, it was seventh year and Albus was such an ass to Scorpius, even though he was doing it for Scorpius’ own good. Seriously, my heart broke for Scropius SO MUCH! =( Good thing everything worked out in the end! XD And Draco in the fic totally stole my heart, even though he wasn’t really featured in the fic. XP

Especially Al, with his wanting to hold Scorpius’ hand and being draped all over Scorpius and his ginormous crush. *heart* It’s so funny how Scorpius comes up with the plan to be Hufflepuffs and how excited they were to be togther in the same house. *squishes them* And it’s so cute how Al doesn’t mind being called Scorpius’ Shadow, haha. Oh, this fic! I love Harry’s POV in this and how much he loves his kids. It’s great seeing Albus and Scorpus from a parent’s perspective. I loved Albus and how he just adores Scorpius when they’re little, and then as they grow up, the tension and strain in their relationship and Harry reflecting on it. I love how apprehensive Harry is about Albus and Scorpius getting together and his conversation with Scorpius and his gift to them after learning the truth.

(Okay, I admit it, I was also hoping for some Harry/Draco on the side, haha. XP)

Seriously, so much awesome in this fic. READ READ READ READ!

I loved Scorpius in this, lol. He was so cute with his crush on Albus and all his denial. XP

Scorpius hovered for a moment, struck by the sight. It wasn’t fair that someone so downright wicked should be so undeniably attractive. Scorpius frowned, trying to negate the foolish idea. Potter’s black hair was far too thick, hanging over his eyes until it was a wonder he could even see. Even now the man jerked his head, flipping the dark bangs away from eyes the colour of… Pond scum, Scorpius told himself sharply. Not emeralds. Not spring leaves. Pond. Scum. Which, admittedly, was still pretty fucking green.

I totally LOL’d at this, especially the pond scum, haha. It totally gave me a flashback to Young Americans, that WB show way back in, like, summer 2000, haha. XP

But yeah.. The tree roots! Albus admiring Scorpius! Scorpius being all sad about Albus possibly having a fiancee, but still letting Albus have his way! And then, afterwards, Albus being all dorky cute while Scorpius is just confused, lol. XD

Oh man, this fic…! I’m not usually one for next generation fics, but this one is so CUTE! I just love Albus, Scorpius, and all the other characters in this fic. And Ginny as a mom is nice, even though I still think it’s weird (I just can’t get over Harry/Ginny actually happening). But yeah, she’s such a good mom that it kinda makes up for the weirdness of Harry/Ginny. XP

But yes, this fic is awesome, because there are things like this:

“You’re cute,” he says, and it takes Alby a moment to really register the statement. He laughs, touches his hair, which, oh God, he forgot to comb properly before he left the dormitory.

“Really?” he asks. Stupid, stupid response, Alby.

“Yeah,” Cory says, smiling down at his parchment. “You’re so . . . happy, or something. How do you manage that?”

“How do I—what?” Alby asks, confused. He doesn’t feel particularly happy, though he’s certainly not unhappy. Mostly he’s scared out of his wits, but having Cory call him cute is awfully reassuring, unless he means it in the way puppies and bunnies are cute, in which case maybe he’s doomed, but hell if he could blame anyone for not thinking him sexy, he’s certainly not that—

“Never mind,” Cory says. “What were you planning on working on this morning?”

“Um,” Alby says, turning to his books, unable to put a coherent thought together. He wants to go back to the conversation about his being cute, really. “Arithmancy?” he suggests with dread, pulling a thick book from his stack.

“Oh, brilliant, I’m great at Arithmancy,” Cory says. “What do you need help with?”

“Uh. Everything?”

Cory laughs, and Alby can see it in the way he looks at him now, gray eyes pinched up and cheery: he’s thinking it again, that Alby is cute. He can hardly believe it, smiles back.

OH GOD! TEH CUTE!~ *heartheartheartheart* Albus is just so sweetly naive in this and the Albus/Scorpius is just so CUTE and GAH! I can’t get over it!

“You’re sort of wonderful,” he says, staring down at Alby as though he’s surprised to have said so. “I don’t think I realized how so until I thought you didn’t want me to kiss you again.”

OMG!~ WHY SO SWEET, SCORPUS?!~ *lovelovelove*

And then, after Winter, there was the their infatuation in Spring, then the drama in Summer, and the eventual get together in Fall (with a bit of murder mixed in). I love it, but especially Fall the most, haha. I’m kind of a hopeless romantic that way. XP
