Yay, girl!Spencer, LOL. I love girl!Spencer and BFFs falling in love and this has both! It’s so sweet, especially how Ryan can see how much Spencer wants to go to prom! And then first-time sex and they’re so sweet, I love it.

OMG LONG STORY! I love well-written super long stories. And this one, I was hooked after the first scene.

“That’s stupid,” Spencer informed him. “Mean people can’t make friends.”

“I don’t have any friends.”

“I’ve decided to be your friend,” Spencer announced.

Ryan looked at him like he was crazy. Ryan was a little worried he might be. “Why?”

Spencer looked at the teddy bear and said softly, “Because you keep things.”

Ryan was pretty sure that was the smartest thing anyone was ever going to say to him.

Seriously, this fic is, like, epic! So many heart-clenching moments because these boys, they’re just so precious! The pacing was great and the characterization was spot-on. I seriously loved this story so much! ♥♥♥ Also, MCR cameos! I love the Frank/Mikey subtext because Frank/Mikey is totally my MCR OTP and that’s just not as popular a pairing (GET ON THE FRANK/MIKEY LOVIN’, PEOPLE!). But yeah, this is seriously one of the best Ryan/Spencer fics ever. XD

I’m not really a Ryan/Spencer fangirl — I prefer Ryan/Brendon and Jon/Spencer in general (and now, apparently Spencer/Brendon) — but there’s something kind of awesome about Ryan/Spencer. I think it’s the whole best friends forever thing because I am sometimes a sucker for that. XP What I love about this fic is the tone throughout, how Ryan wants but it’s not totally obvious. I loved the conversation with Jon and the misunderstanding. Love those boys making fun of each other about Gilmore Girls and sneakers and how everything is just so normal. I love the boys fighting when they were in high school and how Ryan remembers, of course he does, and the reason and the dancing. I love that Ryan got embarrassed and ignores Spencer and thinking about Brent’s phychology class and rearranging his posture. And finally, I love how they fall into each other, how it’s not really a big deal, but just something that happens and it’s perfect and amazing and just how best friends turn lovers should be. *heart*

This fic is amazing, seriously. The characterizations are great and the backstories are just so intricate. I just love all the little details that make up this world. *heart* The pacing was perfect — loved the build up and the action and adventure. And all the other stories in the ‘verse are great, especially the Ryan/Spencer prequel by stele3 — that one was basically as amazing as Parallax. If there were a bizillion more fics in this ‘verse, I would totally eat it up. XP (Seriously, why aren’t there more fic in this ‘verse?)

A Most Brillant Dance

Okay, so I kind of love Pride and Prejudice and even though Ryan/Spencer isn’t my first choice for P!ATD couple, I can cope, okay, because the idea of Pride and Prejudice reinacted with P!ATD was just too tempting, you know? XP And dude, I kind of love this. I liked how it was close enough to the story, but still unique enough and different. The idea of Spencer as Elizabeth and Brendon as Jane is just awesome. The Jon/Brendon was just so cute and fluffy and my heart broke for Brendon when Jon. =( And then there was Ryan, being jerk-ish, but oh his feeling for Spencer and I kind of ached at the inevitable confrontation. And then there was Frank and his awkward proposal and oh that boy and his crush-ness on Gerard and how sweet and awesome that is, and really, this fic is just too much for words. *heart*

Perfect Symmetry

Okay, I’m not really into GSF as a general rule, but there’s just something about Panic! that makes me want it. And even though they had a break up last year, I still love them, though it brings me nostalgia now that I’ve jumped back into reading some old P!ATD fics. XP But yeah, this fic just brings that into focus because it’s a little old, before they split in real life, yet it’s a different type of split and it just kills me. The pain in the beginning and how they just separated from each other and the hurt they have and how Brendon calls and that sparks it all.

I love that they were all still pining and unwilling to give up. I love that they spontaneously hop a flight to Berlin because Brendon called, because they need to fix things. I love how it wasn’t easy and all the misunderstandings, and them learning each other again, because really, a foursome is just bound to be problematic. And, as a last note, I felt SUPER bad for Mark in this. He he totally got shafted and those boys were just so rude to him and he totally didn’t derserve it.
