OMG, hobo!Joe and security guard Bob, LOL. I don’t really do Bob/Joe, but I decided to read this anyway and it’s hilarious and awesome. XP I love Brendon and Gabe being Brendon’s step-brother, and Brendon’s epic crush on Spencer. Also, love Spencer and Ryan and Jon’s texts, lol, and sweeping Brendon off his feet. XD And then there was Gerard and his bird and him working for Gabe who owns The Basement (LOLOLOL!). And OMG Gabe, being the creeper brother and kind of ruining Brendon’s life. XP Pretty much everything in here is epic, but most especially Jon and Ryan being on Hang Time (too epic for words!).

Unrelated, but the title of this fic reminds me of this really stupid game we played back in elementary school called Broom Over, lol. I dunno, that game was kind of lame yet awesome. XP Anyway…

I love how everyone is connected via the apartment building (and Brendon), lol. Poor Spencer, moving into a crazy place. XP Love how adorable Brendon is and his little ~~dog~~ rat, hahaha. And hobo!writer!Ryan and his crazy romantic murder mystery books, OMG. And thinking that Jon wants to murder him and Spencer thinking Jon pays Brendon for sex, LOL. OMG this fic is too amazing for words! I mean, cute adorable Charlie Peter Stump! Patrick and his fear of giraffes and ostriches and llamas! And then Panic! (plus Patrick and Pete) at the cabin! Patrick’s evil Ryan with carrots doodle and DOG BISCUITS. Come on, this is amazing, LOL. And then there was Brendon’s plan(s) to come out and how amazingly ridiculous they are, and also Brendon’s love of unicorns, and spontaneous wedding! I kind of cackled like a mad woman when they decided to run out on the wedding and Gabe took care of things, LOL. And then there was this:

This is adorably awesome, haha. I love that Spencer and Brendon are chemists — it works perfectly here. I love their nerdiness, it’s so endearing (I love nerds, I can’t lie). And OMG, the last line! SPENCER WAS PROPOSITIONED USING THE PRINCIPLES OF MATTER, I cannot lie, I kind of died laughing in the best way. NERDY PICK-UP LINES ARE MY DOWNFALL, YO. I love them SO SO SO much! I used to have nerdy pick-up lines posted on my wall, okay?! So the ending was beyond awesome. ♥♥♥

This fic was wonderful. I love the feel of it and the progression between Spencer and Brendon. There were just so many moments and scenes I loved here that I can’t even name them all or else the whole fic would be here, lol.

Ryan never just tells Spencer the plot. He always wants him to read the books or see the movies himself. He likes to be able to get other people’s opinions, ask about interpretations so he can match them against his own. He doesn’t like ruining surprises and twists. It was like that when he started writing lyrics, too, never just told Spencer what he meant. Ryan always asked what Spencer thought a song was trying to say, hoping to get Spencer to help him fill in the blanks and choruses. It’s one thing to learn how to finish someone’s sentences, but feelings are different. These days Ryan doesn’t really do it that way so much anymore, even if he won’t quit with other things.

Anyway, Spencer has never been the biggest fan of piecing together metaphors. He can help come up with ideas and vote for or against written words put in front of him, but getting from that first place to the other is the problem. All Spencer’s own poetry would be second hand at best. He says what he means so he doesn’t have to worry about writing down the truth later.

I think this was probably my favorite little snippet. It’s not Brendon/Spencer, but I just love how it depicts the differences between Ryan and Spencer, and how their friendship kind of works. I don’t know, it’s just goregous.

Also, sidenote: the photo that was the prompt? Amazing.

It’s official, Spencer/Brendon is my new OTP, f’reals. I still love Ryan/Brendon and Jon/Spencer (first loves, you know), but Spencer/Brendon is just where it’s at. I loved the dialogue and how Brendon was joking-but-not-joking about getting married to Spencer and asking for suggestions regarding their wedding, lol. And how everyone kind of goes along with the not-joke and sometimes, we can’t tell if Brendon and Spencer are joking or not — though I’m sure they probably couldn’t distinguish as well, haha. And Keltie! She was so awesome with her video-playing skillz and going along with Brendon and Spencer and OMG moose at the wedding! Ice sculptures! Seriously, what! And Brendon’s seduction technique and how Ryan totally ruined it, but it’s okay, it worked out. BUT! BUT! Brendon, he totally broke my heart, you don’t even know! And, okay, Spencer kind of interrupted him, but if I was Spencer and I was gonna pop the question and my man said something like what Brendon said, I probably wouldn’t want to listen to the rest either! At least things worked out in the end, yo! CUTE CUTE CUTE! Also, all the comment!fic additions just make me SMILE. XD
