I love how everyone is connected via the apartment building (and Brendon), lol. Poor Spencer, moving into a crazy place. XP Love how adorable Brendon is and his little dog rat, hahaha. And hobo!writer!Ryan and his crazy romantic murder mystery books, OMG. And thinking that Jon wants to murder him and Spencer thinking Jon pays Brendon for sex, LOL. OMG this fic is too amazing for words! I mean, cute adorable Charlie Peter Stump! Patrick and his fear of giraffes and ostriches and llamas! And then Panic! (plus Patrick and Pete) at the cabin! Patrick’s evil Ryan with carrots doodle and DOG BISCUITS. Come on, this is amazing, LOL. And then there was Brendon’s plan(s) to come out and how amazingly ridiculous they are, and also Brendon’s love of unicorns, and spontaneous wedding! I kind of cackled like a mad woman when they decided to run out on the wedding and Gabe took care of things, LOL. And then there was this:

“You have a vested interest in this ceremony?” he asks, eyebrow arched.

Gabe shrugs. “Hey, true love and all, right?” His tone is only half mocking, since Gabe sometimes apparently likes to think he has a romantic soul. Pete’s pretty sure those are the times he sings about his basement.

OMG, this fic is still as creepy as the first time I read it, LOL. (Sidenote: Loved Flesh Mechanic: Not an AU as well, which is totally creeper than this one, if you’re into that, hahaha). I love how this was tied together with actual quotes because that just makes it creepier when you can use facts to make the story (I’m not sure if that made sense, but you probably get what I mean). And then there was Patrick, how he questions and isn’t fully with it and you just want him to snap out of it, but in the end, he stays with it. Seriously, this fic! And then, of course, there are all the other cultverse fics that spawned from it and I think I’ve read most of them, but re-reading to rec them will probably be slow-going since I can only take so much creepy at a time, LOL. I love everything about it and I think I’ve read it a bazillion times, but it NEVER GETS OLD because it is just that awesome! ♥ I love Pete, with his bright idea of hooking Patrick up with someone and being a total douche about it, but the thing is, he thinks he’s actually helping! And Patrick, with his crush and not realizing what Pete was doing, and then being totally pissed off, and I love it. I love the characterizations and how they ended up getting TRAPPED ON THE ROOF because WHAT, REALLY?! And yes, everything is utterly perfect. ♥

Then there was Pete who seemed so cold and I just felt for Patrick and then Pete would go and do something sweet. I loved how things weren’t spelt out, how the reader has to interpret things, come up with our own conclusions. And then the end, it was sweet and perfect. Oh boys! ♥

This was lovely. I love the beginning and how Pete just fell and Patrick’s first kiss and how it was meant to be a joke, but turned out serious because these boys were MFEO, obviously! ♥ And then Patrick is such a heartbreaker and oh, these boys.

“I can’t, Pete,” Patrick said the next morning. He looked wrecked, like something had ripped him open, like his insides were falling out, or maybe that was just Pete’s imagination painting the scene how Pete wanted to see it. At that moment, he couldn’t have denied that there was a part of himself that he’d always hated, a jealous, mean part of his soul that couldn’t take a joke and didn’t fucking want to love anyone, because look what happened. And that part of him was thinking about maybe making Patrick bleed, just a little, just enough that he’d feel it for the rest of his life.

I think this was one of the best parts for me because it was so real and selfish and so Pete.

I don’t even know what else to say but that this is beautiful and heart-breaking and hopeful, all in one.

Pete wriggles closer, turning his face against Patrick’s neck and taking a deep breath. Patrick smells like boy, like music and melody, and if he could draw Patrick from the way he smells, Pete would draw twists and tangles of music notes, swirling up and over and out into miles of open air. Over everyone’s heads like a lovesong, that’s what Patrick would look like.

Seriously, one of the best PxP fics ever. ♥

This was wonderful! I love the flow of the story, how we see Pete’s pining and how it goes from denial to realization, and how sweet yet embarrassing Pete was. Seriously, there were so many moments where I wanted to pat him on the head for being a dork and then in the next moment I want to smack Pete and tell him to GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF and it was just perfect. ♥

Oh god, this fic! I think I’ve read it a bazillion times and OMG awesome, lol. Like, it kinda hits my embarrassment squick, but not so much that it detracts from the awesome. XP But seriously, Pete is such a freak and he would totally be a freak enough to whisper dirty things to Patrick in public, f’reals! And OMG, I love that Patrick stays composed in the face of Pete’s dirty talk on stage because he is just awesome like that, and how Pete is kind of going crazy since he doesn’t know how Patrick is taking it. (Seriously Pete, you are such a freak! XD) And then it eventually leading to Patrick pushing Pete up against the van, OMG. GUHHHH! SO HOT AND AWESOME, YES! XD
