GUHHHHHHH, this fic! OMG, I kind of died because of the hotness of this! Seriously, the characterizations here are just so perfect and Patrick’s thought-process and how mortified he is and just everything! Seriously, sex-pollen fic, come on! Most of the time that is pretty much ridiculous, but it totally worked here and I love this fic so so SO MUCH!

OMG this fic kind of kills me everytime I read it. XD I love Patrick with his crush and all these little instances of flirting and Patrick not being sure if Pete isn’t hitting on him or not, and then BAM! There’s THIS:

“This isn’t normally what people do when they want to talk,” Pete says, amused, and Patrick blushes.

Pete, perhaps, has a point: they are in Patrick’s bedroom, on Patrick’s bed, and Patrick has fastened Pete’s hands to the headboard with the cord of an Nintendo 64 controller.

OMG, I kind of DIED laughing, you don’t even know! And Patrick being all blush-y and asking Pete about his intentions and it’s hilarious HOT and seriously, BEST FIC EVER. XD

OMG THIS FIC! Patrick, he just wants to get it on but Pete is making him wait! And the whole time, you’re thinking, Okay, I guess you’re trying to be noble or whatever, but just stop and get on with the sex-ing! And then it kind of turns into WTF Pete, why do you keep acting like a douche to Patrick?! Then, OMG, the big reveal and seriously, it’s totally a virgin!Pete fic and I don’t think I’ve ever ever read virgin!Pete that is as awesome as this (seriously, I don’t think I’ve read virgin!Pete at all!). And like, I love how believable it is, how abso-fucking-lutely frustrated Patrick is and it’s amazing amazing amazing. Then the climax, I think I kind of died from the GUHHH because OMG RIMMING. =O MY LIFE IS COMPLETE, F’REALS! *heart*

Oh god, this fic! I think I’ve read it a bazillion times and OMG awesome, lol. Like, it kinda hits my embarrassment squick, but not so much that it detracts from the awesome. XP But seriously, Pete is such a freak and he would totally be a freak enough to whisper dirty things to Patrick in public, f’reals! And OMG, I love that Patrick stays composed in the face of Pete’s dirty talk on stage because he is just awesome like that, and how Pete is kind of going crazy since he doesn’t know how Patrick is taking it. (Seriously Pete, you are such a freak! XD) And then it eventually leading to Patrick pushing Pete up against the van, OMG. GUHHHH! SO HOT AND AWESOME, YES! XD

Yes, always-a-girl fic! I still love this fic as much as the first time I read it, lol.

The irony of this is, Patrick thinks as he freezes his face in a smile for the cameras, Peyton’s hand gripping his, that five years ago he would have given anything to be in this situation. Would have happily sold his soul to sadistic hell-demons to have Peyton be his girlfriend, even if she was just pretending. And it’s not that his feelings have changed (although he is proud at how much better he’s gotten at repressing), but. Wow, does this suck.

Peyton leans her head on his shoulder and twines her fingers in his, giving the cameras a dreamy smile. And it’s not anything she hasn’t done or doesn’t do normally, but it isn’t *for Patrick* at all, not like this. It’s fake and she doesn’t mean it, and Patrick tries to make himself relax against her. God, it shouldn’t be *hard* to act like he’s in love with someone he’s actually in love with, should it?

GUHHH! Poor Patrick and his emo thoughts! =( He totally brings the angst, yo! And, okay, I kind of love unrequited love angst when it ends in happiness, so this = AWESOME. Love the blow up and the fighting turning into making out turning into wall!sex. YES! XD
