UGHHH, Hikaru, you are so dense, LOLOL. I really like the pacing of this fic and how Hikaru slowly comes to terms with everything. I felt really bad for Akira in the beginning when Hikaru was being all dumb and trying to give him what he wanted, but I’m glad it worked out okay in the end. I felt really bad for Akari in this though. =/ It breaks my heart how Hikaru was kinda stringing her along. There’s also the fact that I’ve never seriously believed that Akari likes Hikaru romantically in the series — maybe when they were younger, but I’ve always thought they were just best friends, so in a way, that aspect of the fic didn’t really work for me. Besides that though, I’m totally enamored with the development between Hikaru and Akira, so it’s all good.
